Born in the once bustling borough of the Bronx in 1975 during the tumultuous “decade of fire,” Jasmine Willois emerged into a world marked by both adversity and resilience. However, her story is not one of defeat but of determination—a testament to the power of perseverance and the pursuit of excellence.

At the tender age of five, Jasmine’s family embarked on a transformative journey that would shape the trajectory of her life. Moving from the bustling streets of New York City to the vibrant neighborhood of SWATS (Southwest Atlanta) in 1980, and then to the sun-soaked shores of San Diego, California in 1985, Jasmine experienced firsthand the diversity of American life.

Determined to seize her chance at success, Jasmine set her sights on a future in financial services from an early age.

Despite the challenges of adapting to new environments, Jasmine thrived academically. Graduating at the top of her class at Poway High School, she demonstrated a tenacity and drive that would become hallmarks of her character. Fuelled by a thirst for knowledge and a desire to make a difference, Jasmine pursued higher education with fervor.

She began her collegiate journey at Clark Atlanta University, a prestigious historically black institution, before transferring to California State University at Long Beach. In an impressive display of dedication and determination, Jasmine completed her undergraduate studies in just three years, earning degrees in Economics and Industrial Organization.

A Career Forged in Resilience

Armed with ambition and a thirst for knowledge, Jasmine embarked on a career in the financial industry. Her journey took her from GMAC-RFC to MetLife, from Morgan Stanley Dean Witter to Washington Mutual Bank, and finally to Chase. Alongside her professional pursuits, Jasmine remained committed to giving back to her community. Volunteering at the Newark, NJ YMCA in her spare time and speaking to the youth in local churches, she sought to inspire and uplift those around her.

Despite her successes in the corporate world, Jasmine became increasingly disillusioned by the inequities and misogynistic undertones pervasive in corporate America. In 2013, fueled by a fervent passion for empowerment and a determination to carve out space for women and minorities, Jasmine took a bold leap of faith.

Dedicated to equipping underrepresented individuals with the tools needed to thrive in the secondary mortgage market, NAPNATION emerged as a beacon of opportunity and empowerment. Jasmine's courageous endeavor not only transformed countless lives but also solidified her reputation as a visionary leader in her field.
