Despite the challenges of adapting to new environments, Jasmine thrived academically. Graduating at the top of her class at Poway High School, she demonstrated a tenacity and drive that would become hallmarks of her character. Fuelled by a thirst for knowledge and a desire to make a difference, Jasmine pursued higher education with fervor. She began her collegiate journey at Clark Atlanta University, a prestigious historically black institution, before transferring to California State University at Long Beach. In an impressive display of dedication and determination, Jasmine completed her undergraduate studies in just three years, earning degrees in Economics and Industrial Organization.
Armed with ambition and armed with ambition and a thirst for knowledge, Jasmine embarked on a career in the financial industry. Her journey took her from GMAC-RFC to MetLife, from Morgan Stanley Dean Witter to Washington Mutual Bank, and finally to Chase. Alongside her professional pursuits, Jasmine remained committed to giving back to her community. Volunteering at the Newark, NJ YMCA in her spare time and speaking to the youth in local churches, she sought to inspire and uplift those around her. Despite her successes in the corporate world, Jasmine became increasingly disillusioned by the inequities and misogynistic undertones pervasive in corporate America. In 2013, fueled by a fervent passion for empowerment and a determination to carve out space for women and minorities, Jasmine took a bold leap of faith. It was this driving force that propelled her to establish NAPNATION—an elite investment community with a laser focus on first-position note investing. Dedicated to equipping underrepresented individuals with the tools needed to thrive in the secondary mortgage market, NAPNATION emerged as a beacon of opportunity and empowerment. Jasmine's courageous endeavor not only transformed countless lives but also solidified her reputation as a visionary leader in her field.
Three years later, Jasmine embarked on another groundbreaking venture. Launching the Naked Notes podcast—a pioneering educational series focused on mortgage note investing—she sought to democratize access to financial education. With her signature blend of expertise, insight, and charisma, Jasmine quickly attracted a global audience, garnering over 40,000 listeners across 13 different countries. The Naked Notes podcast became a go-to resource for aspiring investors and seasoned professionals alike, cementing Jasmine's status as a thought leader in the industry. Today, Jasmine Willois stands as the general partner of a $50M passive income fund and leads the esteemed NAP Private Equity Club.
